What are some good healthy lunches and snacks for me to bring to work?
Ok so I am trying to eat healthier and also am trying to not spend so much money on lunches and snacks. What are some good ideas? I am allergic to cashews, hazelnuts, and most of all, peanuts. So finding trail mix that won't kill me is hard. I am also allergic to avocados and I hate raw celery. I have a fridge and a microwave at work. Some nice easy ideas that don't require that much work would be great. I get up at 4 am to go to work so I really don't want to have to do much in the mornings. Help would be great. Thanks!

Hi Bree,
Besides the other good ideas, I suggest you add in SunButter. It's good protein, so it fills you up, and I think it's delish on sandwiches, with crackers, apples, carrots (or whatever fruit and veggies are on sale!). I blog for SunButter, so I assure you it's made only from sunflower seeds in nut-free facility, so safe for you. There's also snack packs available. Check it out.

I take my breakfast and lunch to work every day. I usually bring a yogurt for breakfast. I'll have a piece of fruit for a mid-morning snack or a cheese stick. For lunch, most days I take a salad, but I always change the ingredients a bit so I don't get bored. I also add some protein, either a sliced hard boiled egg, a small amount of cooked chicken, or a scoop of tuna salad. I love carrot sticks and broccoli with ranch dip. I also keep a can or two of soup in my desk as a backup.

Hey
Try opting for some fitness bars or proteins bars as a healthy snack whilst your at work, look at reviews and peoples personal experiences for further detail.

These fitness bars are handy because they are cheaper than protein bars and are only 90 calories. They are quick and easy whilst you are at work and also beat the sugar craving.
Different but I like them also.
