I do not want to accompany her - I told my husband to do what he felt he needed to do - but i will be taking my own car to see our grandson. Am I being to petty - she has not talked to me for years and contacts dad for money and favors only -

I cannot fathom ever feeling that way - I am 64 - and in my whole life I have never been able to feel that joy - It is something I would love to feel before I die. It is foreign to me.

It prevents me from being happy and a more pleasant person. Always feel I can do better, work harder, love more, nothing is ever enough and I frustrate byself. My mind always running to improve and do better -

Anyone else feel this way????

I was never fortunate enough to have children of my own and my mother is deceased and we never had a real close relationship. I could just sleep thru the whole day. Some how in my broken heart I need to know that I am not the only one who feels this way. All my friends have children and grandchildren and I am truely happy for them, but I spend my day disguising my feelings and pretending it is a wonderful day. I hate this. This is the one day of the year I just want to forget. I have no other family.

I remember making a cookie when young from this cereal - they were a very thin cookie baked in oven - I remember them being very good and remember they were called "Crunchy Cookies" - does anybody have a recipe? I looked in internet all I see is Rice Krispy Treats.

So tired of coffees,teas,hot chocolate,ciders - are there any creative "hot drinks" out there. Seems like same old stuff for years.
