Almost 20 and no drivers license?
How bad is it that I'm almost 20 and have no license? I hear on tv all the time of people dying in car accident and stuff and I'm nervous that I'll be the next one. And driving looks so confusing. I want to learn how to drive, I just don't know how to gain the courage to try to drive. Help please!

If not driving is impairing your life, then you should take a course that includes classroom learning and practicing in the car with a driving instructor and just keep practicing until you feel more confident. Owning a car is expensive, and so if you live somewhere that you don't really need one, you can just blame that for never having gotten your license.

honestly, you need to learn to drive. driving will make your life so much easier. people do die in car accidents but that wont happen to you as long as you drive safely. just make an appointment to learn to drive, pay for it too so you'll be forced to go learn. i was scared/nervous my first time but i got over that really quickly once i saw how easy it was

Get someone to help you and teach you that is patient and understanding. Take it slow. Don't try to learn everything in one or two days. Take baby steps, one small step at a time at your own pace. At first, don't get on a highway -- back up and down a driveway or around and around in a large empty parking lot. Backward and forward, start and stop, speed up and slow down, over and over again.

I will be 23 next month without mine too. I am just way too scared. It's pathetic, my sister is 15 and is about to get hers. I feel so wimpy and childish. I just don't know how to make myself drive on a road.

My sister in-law is the same way, she is so scared of everything. Trust me it is so easy to drive, plus you don't have to rely on other people. the only way you're going to die is if you are stupid and reckless
