Parents, What food(s) is a staple in your fridge...?

You can always find milk, eggs, cheese, fruits (apples, pears, strawberries, cut up melon), veggies, like cucumbers, bagged lettuce, parsley, lemons, yogurt and pretty much and kind of condiment in my fridge.

That's beside any kind of left over food or goodies we might have for the week.

Those are stuff we usually have on a daily basis and can't live without.

How about you, whats in your fridge and what are things you and your family can't live without?

Thanks for sharing :)

Milk, cheese, EGGS (at least a dozen each of raw and hard boiled), yogurt, fruit (grapes, green apples, oranges and strawberries are a must), baby carrots and unsweetened iced tea.

In the pantry we always have potatoes, onions, bananas, granola bars, nuts, peanut butter and wheat bread.

Milk, eggs, cheese, raspberries, oranges, apples, carrots, garlic, mushrooms, green beans, frozen bags of peas/carrots/broccoli, yogurt, bananas...

Cereal: whole grain Cheerios or brown sugar mini wheats

Those are the basics. I've been buying more fruits/veggies so lately here's a lot of cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, cucumber, melons, grapes, and I've been buying stuff we've never tried before like dragon fruit, star fruit, papaya...

I am always stocked up on everything. Our cabinets, pantry, fridge and chest freezer are always full but the things we couldn't live without in our fridge are bread, assorted cheeses, assorted veggies (usually broccoli, asparagus, lettuce, tomatoes, red and green peppers, onions and garlic), peanut butter and jelly, margarine, sofrito (excellent seasoning, I use it for a lot of stuff), yogurt (for my daughter) hot sauce and a ton of other condiments and salad dressing and marinades. I could live without milk and eggs but I always have them.

    In the fridge:

    Milk

    Cheese

    Eggs

    Apples

    Grapes

Orange fruit (I don't actually buy oranges as my son won't eat them,I buy him easy peelers like clementines, and I think we currently have amendolas? in)

    Concentrated tomato paste

Butter and low fat spread (I'm a purist,I only use butter in cooking)

I would love to say yogurt but in all honesty, this food stuff is the first to go (even the natural stuff that I use in place of milk sometimes),yogurt does not last 5 seconds in my house whether it is natural,Muller Corners or fromage frais

    In the cupboards:

    Beans

Spaghetti (hoops, the only kind I will eat)

Soup - usually chicken, tomato and vegetable

    Gravy and stock

    Pasta (usually macaroni)

Baking essentials - flour, icing and caster sugar, food colouring and flavouring

Mixes - cakes,Yorkshire pudding, batter and dumplings (for when we are lazy)

Tinned meals - chicken curry,Irish stew etc (for when my partner gets home,if he doesn't feel like cooking)

Pasta and sauce and cheap noodles (again, for the fella)

Various herbs and spices plus salt, vinegar and pepper

    Mushy peas

    Hot dogs

    Bread

    Smash - I know,completely disgusting but I don't like home made mash

Tomato ketchup and whatever condiments my fella wants (I only use ketchup),usually BBQ sauce or a chilli relish of some kind

    In the freezer:

    Selection of home made meals

    Burgers/grill steaks

    Bread

    Fish fingers

    Chips/Smiles/Alpha-bites etc

Steak (my fella is a chef,he brings it home from work,we always have at least one pack in)

    Other frozen meats

Mixed vegetables (we don't eat fresh veg, just frozen)

    Ice cream

    Yorkshire puddings

We have every contingency covered - ready made for lazy days, packets or mixes for when we want fresh without the hassle or fresh for when we want home made (my home made Toad in the Hole is amazing)

I flip if we run out of Miracle Whip or ranch dressing.

We also always have cheese, eggs, milk, etc. (The basics)

milk, bread, fruit (varies by season and mood), baby carrots, yogurt, cheese

eggs used to be more iffy but now that my oldest and her friends are really into baking, i usually have them, too.

(*i considered leaving this part out: do i have to admit that there's also usually roast beef in there for my dog?? yes, i know how ridiculous that is, but he's on vet's orders to gain weight and he utterly disdains dog food and loves roast beef and cheese.....)

Cream cheese, kugel from the deli lol. Now that I'm learning to cook I usually have more staples though.
