Panasonic tv question?

Syco noodles! 1080i or 1080 on my cable box format for two panasonic plasma smart tvs. I trust your knowledge on this. Thanks

    1080i.. Since you cannot get 1080p through your cable box, 1080i or 1080 would be fine.. All US TV stations broadcast in either 720p or a maximum of 1080i.. There is no 1080..It is either 1080i or 1080p, which is usually from a PS-3 or a Blu Ray DVD player..

    1080 p is best......1080i is middle......resolution.
