How can feelings of regret undermine an individual’s sense of contentment?
There's just too many big words there, but I guess I just need help getting some ideas formulated. So any help would be appreciated.

content means when you are satisfied with your life.
Basically this question wants you to write about anything that will hold you back from feeling content
Feelings of regret can undermine your sense of contentment. They can hold person back from fully enjoy the present. For example, if you have cheated in your exams to pass a class or get a degree, you may have feelings of regret throughout your life. May be people will not know that you have cheated your way to accomplish something, but your inner self is aware of the truth. These feelings may hinder your contentment. On the other hand, if you have lived your life honestly, you will feel content.
