Partitioning my Windows 7 Laptop?
I have a Lenovo laptop with Windows 7 64-bit installed on it and I would like to install a Mas OS onto it. It's a 750 GB hard drive, so i was thinking ill do about half and half.
How does one go about partitioning their Windows so that you can install Mac onto it and use both?? I've found a bunch of videos on how to partition a MAC computer, but not for doing so with a windows. Also, does partitioning slow down your computer performance??
If more information is needed i just let me know
Thanks :)

- Go to your control panel > System and Maintenance > Administrative Tools > double click Computer Management. Click on Storage > Disk management. Once there, right click the unallocated area on your hard drive and click on New Simple Drive.
- You can only install a mac OS if you have an intel processor. If you have an AMD processor you will have to install Hackintosh (http://www.hackintosh.com/)
- Once you have a partitioned hard drive. Put the mac OS CD in, reboot your computer from the CD. Then when your going thru the install wizard, make sure to install on the second part of your hard drive. The one with nothing on it.
It should not slow down your computer. But it will slow down your hard drive a bit. And if you partition your hard drive too many times and add more OS's it'll start slowing your hard drive even more.
Good luck and if you have more questions or problems, email me.

Tried and Failed. You would have to have a Mac already to get Mac OS X working and also the Motherboard is imcompatible with Mac OS X.
And also as a note You cannot Partition a Windows Computer to MacOS HFS+ because there are no drivers associated to do so with Windows.
