do the christians memorizing the bible by heart like the muslims do memorise the quran ?

i don't desire to generalize....in spite of the indisputable fact that that's real, from my journey, that maximum Muslims understand the Quran greater valuable than maximum Christians understand the Bible. some Muslims understand the Bible greater valuable than some Christians. for the duration of Ramadan Muslims are meant to ascertain the full Quran. a lot of Muslims of each and all ages, female and male, memorize the full Quran and would recite it (in Arabic).

Some of us Christians try to remember as many scriptures as we can, but not unlike the Muslim, we can't memorize the 'whole' Bible as a rule. Although I remember once about 20 years ago a little girl in our church memorized the whole book of Matthew [word for word] , amazing I thought, she was only 15 yrs.old and a real sweetheart. It's more difficult to memorise the bible, as it is not written poetry. Arabic has a certain rhyme and rythm to it. The bible is also not made to be recited. It is not played in restaurants or cafés.

We do but we dont imitate Muslims, Bible is a word of God, Holy spirit can communicate through this Bible , It cleanse your Heart and prevent you from sin

Only people who can't read have any need to memorise an entire book.

as there are only 114 verses of the koran to memorise and there is no spiritual in doing so , whereas the bible teaches us how to live spiritually, so there is no need to memorise it
