I think my bone is bruised, how do i tell?
I smashed it really bad yesterday at work, when i was carrying a box and went into the side of a metal cooling rack (best decription i can give you is that its the side of a radiator strength and width) and there was immediate signs of skin damage with it 'peeling' i couldnt move it, put ice on it straight away, then strapped it together with the one next to it. left it over night, and now if i pull the skin away from my finger joint, and it doesnt hurt (that much) but if i push on it then it absolutely kills!!!! i think its a bruised bone, but not sure, anyone have any knowledge on this? and if it is bruised what can i do to help it?
yer i would visit a doctor, but its a sunday? and no public transport, mums stolen the car to go camping, so i would have to walk for 2 hours to get to the hospital wait 8 hours to be seen, just to be told that its bruised. i can see its bruised a little bit.

The bone structure in there is suppose to be a little stronger so you don't need be worried about damaged bones, plus if you're a working out person like i am, part of working out should also help to strengthen your bones due to the increases production of osteoblasts, as this leads to the production of osteoblasts, bones grow stronger with a regular regime of activity. But, you should see a doctor for sure.
