Is the GCSE art coursework hard to keep up with?

I am choosing my options at the moment and am considering GCSE art. I'm not the best of drawers but I'm not the worst either... I think. I was predicted to get a C if I took GCSE art. But I really love art and for most of my free time I will spend drawing.

If I did take it then I will be dedicated to it because I know it's VERY time consuming. So as long as you keep up with it will you be fine? Or even if you do put in a lot of effort in is it still hard to keep up with?

Thank you for your time :)

I took my options last year, and chose GCSE art. My target was a B but I want to aim for an A. At first the lessons are great, and you really learn things but when it came to my first controlled assesment I freaked out only getting a C. This was because I thought I didn't have to work hard as I was enjoying it. Baisicly what I would say was take it if you enjoy it, because its a great subject, but even if you are 100% commited to do all the work (which is a lot), you will have pressure from other subjects as there are lots of exams/courseworks to revise/complete. As long as your prepared for that stress and your an organised person I'm sure you will love art. I have grown to love it:)

NO! images at GCSE is meant to be an relaxing concern. So, you would possibly want to do alot of coursework yet is there a topic the position you do not might want to do coursework? So there is also the 8 hour exam. This actual isn't as undesirable because it sounds! You get time to initiate a mission formerly the exam, we began our mission for the time of February / march however the exam replaced into in might want to!! images is sweet yet you in straightforward words get out of it what you positioned into it. in case you savor it and are prepared to do artwork then you definately will be advantageous!

I didn't take Art as one of my option courses, but nearly all of my friends did. I'm not artistic at all and I messed about in class from the moment I started Year 7 right until the end of Year 9. It's so time-consuming and you will have to have a passion for the subject to do well in it. Go for what you think is best......:)
