How many Scottish People will vote to Restore their National independence in the forthcoming Referendum?
This is your opportunity to regain your place among the Nations of the World in the United Nations and as a member in your own right of the European Union.
I should have explained that I am looking for a straw poll on the subject. I am not looking for, or providing a platform for ukip members, or Scotland must stay at all cost English people to have a go at the People of Scotland.

Well, mate, if we knew that it would be a lot easier to predict the total number of votes cast.
I would make it compulsory, frankly, because regardless of which side of the argument you are on this it is your country and whilst which political party you vote for rarely makes a huge difference whether or not Scotland becomes independent of Westminster interference most certainly will.
I will be voting. Anyone seeing previous answers of mine will be in little doubt which way I'll be voting.
What a yawn... a UKIP stooge. You do know if the EU want to break up the UK (for one thing they don't have the authority, but don't let that get in the way of your paranoia) Scotland would still be contained within what is now deemed to be Scotland (based on standard UKIP propaganda, anyway) so as such I'm not remotely certain why I should give a rats @rse about that anyway.
Additionally, Turkey is quite some distance further off meeting the criteria for joining and there's no such thing as a 'queue.' You do know Westminster would have to renegotiate as well, don't you? There will not be a successor state to the UK; there will be two new states with equal rights and if we've got to negotiate entry, UKIP stooge, so do you.

There's not going to be a referendum. By October 2014 one of two things will have happened. The Tories will have put the UK on the road to recovery and thus show that their policies are best for UK. Or, more likely, they'll be in a shambles and Labour will be poised to regain power and the Scots will be far happier to remain part of the UK under them than the Tories.
So if the SNP don't want want a referendum now, they sure won't want one in 2014. Their only option is to hold a devo max referendum and then use that as a platform from which to edge towards proper independence. It might take decades by which time the oil will be gone.

What a YAWN. The 15th pro-president salmon Q to day. I think it will be a good turnout if Salmond EVER gives you a referendum.
Those Scots wishing to leave the UK must be aware that the EU want to see the UK break up into tiny pieces so that we are easy for Brussels to control us. Scotland may well have to reapply to join the EU if it leaves, and bare in mind that Turkey will be ahead of you in the queue.
@Well mate.... to say you didn't give a ratsas you certainly took note of my answer. Did the trick then didn't it? And you don't know WHAT the EU will do either. But if you are correct, then you might be doing us all a favour if you just leave.... That's exactly what I want - to leave the EU completely. YAWN.
