as compared to the "duck-chicken" relationship (which shows three amino acid differences).

well, the relationship between both humans and monkeys and ducks and chickens are evolutionary. Both species share a common ancestor, contrary to popular belief, humans are not 'evolved' monkeys. I'm not too sure what the question is alluding to when it says 'shows 3 amino acid differences' as every animal needs the same amino acids, 8 of which are 'essential' and cannot be made by the body - they are consumed through sources of food. Amino acids are found in the sequences of DNA - so I am guessing that they mean within a sequence of DNA, there's 3 places where they are not identical - which is very similar to the relationship between human-monkey relationship.

I hope this helped! It's a strange question... but the most important element you can get out of this is that they all share a common ancestor within the 'tree of life'
