What's one-size in men's socks?
Does "one-size" in men's socks mean the same thing as "regular"? I'm still shopping for men's crew socks for a size 11 or 11-1/2 men's shoe. The one's I'm looking at come in "one-size" or "large". Would the "one-size" fit my foot? I'm sure "large" is too big.

I would be surprised if "large" were too big. With that said, the "one-size" socks that I carry in my store are for shoe sizes 7.5-12, so you ought to be fine with those.

No, but I can tell you how to modify one you have. Will that work? See what the difference is between the size 10, si\ze 11, size 12, and size 13 requirements. Use a calculator (I do!) if needs be. It may be a straight number of stitches or it may be a percentage. Figure it out, and then extend the pattern. If size 11 is 60 stitches, size 12 is 62 stitches, and size 13 is 64 stitches, you will probably want to cast on 66 for a size 14. Do the same with the number of rows or inches for length. If you ever come out with "something-and-a-half" round up to make a whole number. The socks will fit better if you round up, believe me. Feel free to email me with questions if you have them as you go.
