Just cut 2-3 thin slices of lemon and put it in a cup containing drinking water.  The water will become "alkaline water". Drink for the whole day, just by adding more water. Take it as drinking water everyday. It is good for health.

So you believe that putting lemon (Lemon juice is very acidic with a pH around 2-3) in a glass of water will make the water alkaline. And drinking this will make a cancer go away?

Go get some litmus paper and test the first claim out for yourself.

As for the second part, you can't conclude directly from a study on cancer cell lines in dishes/rodents to effects in real human cancers.

Cancer is a collective term for approximately 200 different diseases. Every cell type in your body can (in principle) develop into its own type of cancer. On top of that individual cancer cells in every cancer are also different from one another. 

In a cancer cell line, all the cancer cells are identical. This is one reason why you can't deduce from a cell line study that it will work in patients. A comparison of drug performance in mouse models with subsequent clinical trials shows that drugs which reduce tumour bulk by 60% do not necessarily show efficacy in human trials: http://www.nature.com/bjc/journal/v84/n10/pdf/6691796a.pdf
The drugs were tested on a whole range of different cancer types. It was not even possible to deduce effect on specific cancer types from effects in on cell lines from these specific cancer types (or mice studies using the same specific types of cancer). 

To know if a substance in lemon is better than other chemoterapeutics (often also derived from plants), you need to do controlled trials. Since your source does not refer to any such trials (and since no such trials can be found in a search of the medical literature), the claim you present must be regarded as cancer quackery.

Hoavan, It would be a blessing if this were true and Cancer became a thing of the past, but alas, there have been to double blind medical studies that have proven that Lemon Grass cures cancer.
