Can I restart an EPF after having withdrawn it if I decide to return work in Malaysia?
I worked in Malaysia for two years and then decided to leave. Upon leaving the country, I withdrew my EPF bc I had no definite intention of returning to Malaysia.
Now a couple of years later I am looking at a job in KL. If I were to return, does anyone know if I could restart an EPF and contribute again monthly, and then withdraw it all again when I likely leave in a few years?

.
1. Membership of the EPF is mandatory for working Malaysian citizens, or non-Malaysian citizens who are either permanent residents or have been EPF members before 1 August 1998.

2. On the basis of practice prevailing in other countries, it seems you can join EPF again in Malaysia.
3. Kindly go through the website of EPF organisation of Malaysia as given below. You can also make online enquiry from the organisation on the website.

4. The website, inter alia, says:
-How To Become An EPF Member?
When you work for the first time, it is your employer's responsibility to register you with the EPF.
