Does anyone make a front wheel drive p/u truck?

I want one to tow behind my motor home.

I think V/W used to make one that was Diesel.

Subaru Brat is AWD, VW made a Rabbit based pick up that was either diesel or gas. It was a long time ago.

I know VW and dodge made some front wheel drive pick ups. Why do you need a pick up to tow behind a motor home? They are pretty useless trucks in my opinion, they get worse traction when loaded and can't tow much.

There aren't any that I know of in production; however, V/W did used to make one. Even if there were, they would have to be light duty trucks. Big problem with front wheel is there is hardly any weight in the rear end on a truck as is. Removal of both the driveshaft and differential would significantly reduce the weight, leading to serious traction issues. Also, if you put a heavy load in the rear end with front wheel drive, the front end could potentially lift to a certain extent resulting in the reduction of traction.
