Does using water use electricity?
Will using water for everyday activities such as showering or watering the garden use electricity (at any stage) and therefore contribute to global warming as fossil fuels are burnt for this energy? (Even at a small amount)

depend on where u use the water from.
if u use the water for showering, and its hot water that u use, and the hot water comes from water heater, and the water heater cable plugged into a socket, then u use electricity.
some water pump use electricity. u can check if u water pump cable plugged into a socket too...

In a shower you heat water, through the use of energy, which will be supplied via electricity, unless you're solar powered. Cleaning the water in the water plants will obviously incur an energy usage what with transport of chemicals, pumping water, keeping the plant running.

see eventually it does matter like that saying goes about 'little drops add a lot, a bucket full of water'. so yes it affects, even if in low quantities/
but you can hardly prevent it. whenever fuel ends & we dry due to cold , we can't stop our day to day rituals.
after all w/o using water, we will die before the fuel ends up due to stinks & epidemics born o/o it.
