How much would a solar panel cost if it were 10 by 5cm?
I'm finding difficulty on getting an average price for a solar panel for a theoretical product which i've designed for an assignment. It is very small and I'd just like to know how much it would cost to manufacture a solar panel which is 10 by 5cm.
Does anyone have any idea, with evidence to back up your answers? Thanks, best answer gets 10 points
4 AnswersGreen Living9 years agoWhat to call positive correlation between strong and weak?
A correlation greater than 0.8 is generally described as strong, whereas a correlation less than 0.5 is generally described as weak. The correlation I have calculated is 0.5088777
Would you describe this as moderately positive or something else? Any other comments on this figure will also help. Best answer gets 10 points

Does the apple store have an app equivalent to Lockinfo (from Cydia). I have bought a new phone and will not jailbreak it and have seen an app where your favourites can come up on the lock screen without having to unlock the phone. You can also add your calender and weather updates to the lockscreen. Please let me know of an app that i can download from the app store (preferably for free)
3 AnswersPDAs & Handhelds9 years agoWhat is the difference between the statement of comprehensive income and the statement of cash flows?
They both include information on the operating and financial events of the business, but the statement of cash flows goes a step further in providing information on investing activities as well. So why do we have a comprehensive income statement if the cash flows statement seems to be quite viable on it's own?
Please be as extensive as possible, i'd like a great understanding of this. Best answer gets 10 points
2 AnswersPersonal Finance9 years agoWhat is the rounded mean and standard deviation of daily visitor rates for the quarter?
A curator is hoping to summarise visitor rates for the last quarter. A random week (Week 7) is chosen to do this. The daily entry figures for Week 7 were recorded as follows:
Mon: 252; Tue: 821; Wed: 918; Thu: 560; Fri: 801; Sat: 944
Using these values to make the report, the curator should report the rounded mean and standard deviation of daily visitor rates for the quarter as:
(a) 716 and 242, respectively
(b) 716 and 265, respectively
(c) 716 and 58445, respectively
(d) 716 and 70134, respectively

An internet service provider (ISP) has surveyed all of its customers and found out that 20% of its customers are corporate customers. To help ensure customer retention in its personal consumer markets the company is considering randomly selecting 10 people each month to receive 2 months of free internet access. To assist in working out if a corporate client may win management wants you to find the probability that that one or more of the winners will be corporate customers in a given month? (Adapted from Groebner et al., 2006, p. 187).
(a) 0.11

1 AnswerMathematics9 years agoWhat is the probability of the brigade being called to exactly 6 fires this coming year.?
The Rural Fire Service has calculated that a brigade is called to fight a fire on average 4 times a year. The frequency of call outs is assumed to follow a Poisson distribution. The local brigade commander is trying to plan how much leave time to grant to each of the brigade members and wants you to work out the probability of the brigade being called to exactly 6 fires this coming year.
(a) 0.08
(b) 0.10
(c) 0.31
(d) None of the above

1 AnswerMathematics9 years agoUsing Z-scores/normal distribution?
A sales person is monitoring prices of competitors and reports a five number summary with values: $1, $2, $3, $4, $5 for the minimum, first quartile, median, third quartile, and maximum, respectively. The sample of competitor prices have a mean value of $3.50 and standard deviation of $0.50. Using z-scores/normal distribution, the following criterion would be used to identify outliers:
(a) Values less than $1.50 or greater than $3.50
(b) Values less than $2 or greater than $4
(c) Values less than $2 or greater than $5
(d) No outliers would be identified
The answer here is C but I would like to know the logic behind it. How did you find out this answer? What steps and what working out did you do to get the correct answer? Thanks in advance

Will using water for everyday activities such as showering or watering the garden use electricity (at any stage) and therefore contribute to global warming as fossil fuels are burnt for this energy? (Even at a small amount)
