What makes you feel you are smarter than others ?

I know that I'm super far from being the smartest person on earth but over and over again I'm proven to be more intelligent than most of my American Peers.

I'm lucky that I come from a family that truly values knowledge. When other families meet up for the holidays and talk about American Idol, we talk about history and the politics of WWII...

When I was in school, my friends were watching talk shows while I was watching Discovery Channel.

I'm not boasting... It was proven time and again when I had to correct my teachers when they were either just wrong or teaching outdated information.

My American History Teacher argued with me that Obelisks were "French" architecture because, and I quote, "There's one in France."

My aunt lived in Paris and I got to use frequent flyer miles to go and visit her and was THERE... Seeing the Egyptian Hieroglyphs... Not to mention that I'd seen a documentary on how the Egyptian Government gave the French the Obelisk because they believed they would be unable take it down and transport it.

Friends of mine have said multiple times, and again I quote, "Mary, you think too much..." when I can't just sit back and watch a bad film like the Pirates of the Caribbean Series.

I'm lucky... I have the ability to remember EVERYTHING I read. It's like a photographic memory but only what I read, not what I hear or see... Then I'm average.

Because I was raised to seek information just for the fun of learning, I spend hours on science and medical sites, reading Science Magazines and Medical Journals... When I travel, I go straight to the museums while my friends just want to go get trashed and party.

The sad thing is that I know I'm above average for an American but below average for a Western European.

Oh, and I understand the psychology of what makes my Fellow American Citizens so retarded... It's our distorted values and cultural standards. We accept trauma as healthy and stability and boundaries as being somehow "Bad" because of the horrifically harmful mindset of the Hippy Generation.

It's the generational transmission of trauma that is destroying our country, and it all started with the idea that anything healthy is bad and that if it feels good, you should do it and damn the consequences...

Well I didn't get involved with drugs. Never been in trouble with the police. I never got myself pregnant before I married. I have a nice home which I worked hard for. Yep I'm smarter than lots of people.

I don't think I'm smarter than others. I just may think I have a different mind set/mentality.

When people categorize a whole ethnic group as having the same personality, notions, ethics, or background as the same. When people are brainwashed by their sub parents; sub parents acting portrayed as the Media. When ignorant people deliberately change facts so it can fit into their own doctrine. Also, when people inadvertently see things as one sided.

whenever someone says something i'm unsure on how to react towards, i ALWAYS result in saying something profane and racist, like calling someone a black person a stupid nÄ­gger! its also pretty funny! i'm just a racist at heart, its entertaining. whenever i say it, they always look at me with this speechless expression, as if they don't know how to reply. dumbasses.

Many people 'feel' smarter, but those people are actually pretty stupid. I know I am because I can demonstrate it.
