Friends zone ...questions on dating girls .?

Ok, this has probably been asked to hell but I'll ask anyhow .

I take a chick that I like out , nothing special about this chick , she is not hot , but I love her personality and I find her attractive even when my friends ask me "what am I doing ?" anyhow , I take this chick out to a nice tennis tournament (that she wanted to go to) and before to nice rides and nice restaurants 3 times or so , I make her laugh , I am the true gentleman and pay for everything , she gave me the stares and I give them back , back at her car I try to make a move and she avoids the kiss , I shrug , no biggie , she then sends me a text that "she had a great time and she really enjoyed spending time with such a great new friend "

FML SMH , she has to know that I was not trying to be her friend , I mean ride on a motorcycle , paid for everything is not something I do for Friends ! , she actually know I like her to , it is the coldest bucket of water that someone can throw on your head , why if you don't like a guy , why do you let him take you out and do all this stuff and waste each other's time ?

Also why is it that girls always fall for the asshole guys while us romantics frequently get stuck on the "friends zone" , I have even tried being a dick and girls fall like flies , but it is not my style and the moment I turn into myself they run away ...
