Has anyone seen a native opuntia humifousa?

I live in MA and I was surprised to find out that there is cacti native to New England.

    Yes...I have one in my yard. The patch is about 4 feet long and 3 feet wide and is covered with yellow flowers with bright orange centers in May-June. I live in Indiana and they are native to this state. It has survived 25 below zero temperatures and still comes back. I provided a link to a picture of mine flowering 2 years ago. It now has over a hundred flowers when it flowers. I look forward to it every year around May-June. I have to say I am not sure mine is humifusa but the Opuntia genus are notoriously difficult to identify to species. There are about 190 species or so of Opuntia and a lot of them look very much alike.

    Yes,they are a noxious weed in Australia.We call them Prickly Pear.
