Whenever I try to launch any browser besides IE it closes out?

It is not always necessary to run a malware scan in Safe Mode. In your case I think the simplest solution is install Malwarebyes Free edition. I have included the link below:

Download > Install > Update > Run(Scan)

If you have the type of malware infection that blocks security programs--then try installing by Safe Mode(F8) with Networking Method. Then repeat the above procedure.

restart the computer start pressing F8 then enter safe mode with networking then log in and open Internet Explorer and search google for Malwarebytes then download it , install it, update it and scan your computer for viruses then when you remove them restart your computer and see if it works like it should!
