1 it could mean its loaded with the sub woofer already.2 it could mean its loaded with the sub woofer and amplifier to run the sub.this should be listed in the spec's.

A set of subwoofers in a box. It's just a box that has all the wiring done and installed subwoofers. Some have built-in amps but some don't either.

you should have about 1 square foot of airspace per sub. the sub should not get hot but it is normal for the amp to get really hot be prepaired to replace a fuse if you crank it and its not hooked up right. it also depends if its a 4 or 2 channel amp. if its a 4 channel then there is no way your getting 700 wattts. just cause its a 700 watt amp dosent mean thats what its putting out. hit me up with more info if u choose me as best answer and ill help u out.
