Folk Punk band question?
I have had an acoustic folk punk project for a while, and I am not sure weather I should stick solo or add more members. My friend Tim, wants to play harmonica and backing guitar so I might have him join the band, but I also wonder if I should recruit a drummer. What is your guy's opinion on this, should I stick it alone, or try to play shows with a full band.

I would say the more the better my friend, folk bands usually have quite a few members, i would include (if you can) a fiddle, a drummer, another guitar, pipes, fifes, listen to Floggin Molly, and Dropkick Murphys and see what instruments you can hear :)

Why not both? Andrew Jackson Jihad is on a full band tour right now, but normally it's just guitar and upright bass. There's no reason you can't write some songs for just you, or some with you and just harmonica, or for everyone, or any combination! It works for Andrew Jackson Jihad so there's no reason it won't work for you!

A drummer would be cool--with just a kick-snare-ride-hi hat kit. Nice and simple.
