I'm very tired of the issue, especially since we don't really know enough at this point to pass judgment.

The favoritism being shown is even illustrated by your question: Why is Trayvon Martin Trayvon and George Zimmerman Zimmerman? Why not be consistent and refer to the issue as Martin/Zimmerman or Trayvon/George? Actually, there were probably mistakes made by both parties.

It is sad that a 17-year-old was killed, but it is also sad that this 17-year-old assaulted another person. It is sad that this is being turned into a race issue when it was just a series of mistakes and misjudgments.

I am sick of people advocating violence and riots. I am sick of the lynch mob mentality of some of those who've posted on this issue.

So my answer is yes.

I know, right? It's so dumb how the media took this case that would have been just a quick trial, and decided to blow it up into a race issue. If you take out who's white/mexican and who's black, this case is pretty clean-cut. Neighborhood watchmen sees person that he finds suspicious, and confronts him. Nobody knows who threw the first punch but a fight broke out, and it ended up with the watchman on the ground being beaten. He then made the decision to open fire, and was taken in. This case should only be a debate over whether Zimmerman should be at fault for starting the confrontation and letting it escalate, or if the jury feels that Trayvon threw the first punch.

Considering that there isn't a verdict yet. Yes! I mean we don't even know what happened yet. I guess people are ready to jump to conclusions.
