how to be able to run 1 mile within 2 months?
i want to improve my time for running the mile. i am a 15 yr old girl and my best time for the mile is 10 minutes and 10 seconds. i really wanna get atleast under 8 minutes, the normal time for a girl to run the mile.
i have until the end of july 2012 to be able to do this. plz help! is there a specific site for a plan on how to run a mile in about 2 months? or can you give me a schedule to follow?

You don't necessarily have to do anything special to help yourself run a mile quicker. Practice makes perfect, if you really want to work hard at this, run every day, commit yourself to healthy exercise every hour or so in the day. If you run half a mile or a mile everyday, you will improve, running occasionally from time to time trying to improve a record does not help as such, you need to train yourself as best as possible, and go steady, make your pace comfortable, like a light jog.

I run approximately two-three miles an afternoon. one million.five miles is not that some distance. It's mainly what you're consuming for the period of the day that's slowing you down. Eat plenty of end result and veggies the greener then bigger. I run five days out of per week and I raise one the last day, giving myself someday to devour something I desire in small quantities and take a holiday from recreation to allow your frame recover. I'm fairly younger and run for approximately quarter-hour an afternoon which received me from 167 kilos chubby to 141 kilos best weight and beneath the natural weight of a feminine my age. A best weight! If you could have a target, believe approximately some thing inspiring whilst you run and simply opt for it! It's the facet of realizing you're going to run that day that's tough. But five ft into the run and it is remarkable! Good success and I desire this is helping!

Run everyday!! Just get up and run for 30 minutes. Your overthinking it. You just gotta run!(:
