Can anyone give me some words of Encouragement?

I'm not going to elaborate my situation on the internet, but I've been through a lot lately. I had an recent illness (mono) that lasted a month and I'm now going through a mild flare-up of the same thing. I also moved to the other side of the world (husband is stationed in Australia) far, far away from my family and friends. Needless to say I feel alone and am struggling with my faith. I don't get a lot of encouragement from the people I know here or my husband, and only talk to my family 3-4 times a week.

If you're a Christian, I'd really appreciate some words of encouragement from your point of view, if not, I would just as appreciate what you have to say as well!

Thanks!

Well, when you are physically stressed out, and lol, mono will do that, and made a major move to a whole new world and culture, yeah..you won't feel good. This is a good time to get some rest, make a short list of what you want to get done that day, little things like laundry, unpack one box maybe 3 small chores. Talk to God. No don't pray. Sit down in a chair by yourself and just talk to Him. Just you and him. Alone. Tell Him what you need and why you need it. Get out your wedding photos and show them to Him. Ask for what you need to be the wife your husband needs. Yo uh'll know when the talk is over. If you have some energy, go explore your new hometown. Buy a little kid a baloon. Smile at everyone you meet.

Then go take a nap. When your husband comes home, share this with him and ask him to be patient while you recover your strength, and use that term. Recover your strength. Every day do your list of chores check off your list, then try to do somethi.g small for someone as you take your walk. Give 3 pe.nies to the person at the counter who's short on change. Compliment an elderly lady's hat or dress. Make people feel nice about themaelves with little things. Offer to hold a baby while mom digs through her purse. Start Incorpoationg a flower garden. Somethi.g just for beauty.and sit down with God at the end of ths first week and tell him thank you. THEN pray for strength to keep this up, you do it in His name. Soon you'll be well healthy happyand in a better place to enjoy your life

I'm sorry so much has happened to you :(

Have you found a church in Australia yet? If not, I recommend seeing if you can find one. If not, just try to read your Bible every day. Don't worry, things will get better :) They always will. Never forget that through the hard times you can find joy and talk to God whenever you feel lonely. He will never hesitate to listen.

Meanwhile, enjoy Australia! My suggestion: Just go for a walk. I find walks very relaxing and helpful.. You can organize your thoughts and look at all the beautiful things God has created for you to see and enjoy :) Maybe join a book club, or better yet, a Bible study. Try new things :) I bet you'll get into a routine really quickly :)

And please, DON'T FORGET THE MOST IMPORTANT ENCOURAGEMENT OF ALL : God and Jesus love you :) And other people do, too :) Don't give up and keep pushing through :)

Sometime when things seem to be at there worst its just God setting you up to experience your best. Everything he does he works for good. But i know its easy to say before and after hard times and easy when youre on the outside. But i can honestly say things are gonna better just keep on praying and keep climbing til you reach the other side. Im only 14 but i know how hard it can be to leave your family and friends and everything else behind and especially sickness on top i cant imagine but just keep close to God reading bible and praying and know that youll most definitely be in my prayers.

Read your Bible every day, even if it is one or two verses. Next, keep busy by reading a book, doing things around the house or volunteer somewhere. Stay strong in your faith! People will try to pull you from GOD in subtle ways. Do not fall for it. Always pray-every day, GOD will always be with you as long as you give him glory and thanks. GOD bless.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee Jeremiah 1:5. You were designed special by God for a reason and a purpose. I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with with you forever. It isn't easy being sick for awhile, as it can really drain you in so many ways. When I am homesick, I go online with a good map, and look at where I came from. Ask God to help you find the church that He wants you to be a part of. I have had a hard time with moving here, and leaving a home full of memories, and loved ones behind. You might want to pray to Jehovah God about how you feel and your situation. He is a friend who you can always count on and will always be there to listen to your problems with a listening ear! He will help you. Also if you can go to your nearest Jehovah's Witnesses congregation (Kingdom Hall) they will be more than happy to help you.

I recommend reading about St. Faustina and the things Jesus told her, especially about suffering in life.

Take heart, Jesus often permits such trials in order that we may get closer to Him---and trust me, it is indeed a great grace (I know this from personal experience---yes, it is not easy or fun to go through trials and tribulations, but, should we choose to turn to our most loving and merciful Lord, then the reward far exceeds the pain.

Jesus did indeed appear to St. Margaret-Mary showing her His most Sacred-Heart, saying:

"My Divine Heart is so inflamed with love for

men, and for you in particular that, being

unable any longer to contain within Itself

the flames of Its burning Charity, It must

needs spread them abroad by your means, and

manifest Itself to them (mankind) in order to

enrich them with the precious graces of

    sanctification and salvation necessary to

withdraw them from the abyss of perdition. I

have chosen you as an abyss of unworthiness

and ignorance for the accomplishment of this

great design, in order that everything may be

    done by Me."

He also made these wonderful promises to anyone who would practice devotion to His most Sacred-Heart:

    1. I will give them all the graces necessary for their state of life.

    2. I will give peace in their families.

    3. I will console them in all their troubles.

    4. I will be their refuge in life and especially in death.

    5. I will abundantly bless all their undertakings.

    6. Sinners shall find in my Heart the source and infinite ocean of mercy.

    7. Tepid souls shall become fervent.

    8. Fervent souls shall rise speedily to great perfection.

    9. I will bless those places wherein the image of

My Sacred Heart shall be exposed and venerated.

    10. I will give to priests the power to touch the most hardened hearts.

    11. Persons who propagate this devotion shall

have their names eternally written in my Heart.

    12. In the excess of the mercy of my Heart, I promise you that my all powerful love will grant to all those who will receive Communion on the First Fridays, for nine consecutive months, the grace of final repentance: they will not die in my displeasure, nor without receiving the sacraments; and my Heart will be their secure refuge in that last hour.

I have also have been going through some difficult times lately----turning to this most loving and caring Saviour of ours has definitely brought me more blessings than misgivings.
