I've had painful cramps for 2 weeks but I haven't had a period in 3 mnths. Should I go to the doctor?

I'm NOT pregnant. There is absolutely no chance of me being pregnant.

I've always have bad cramps, usually for 3 weeks out of the month with the middle week being my period. I haven't had a period in 3 months (probably due to stress). I haven't been taking my birth control every day at the same time lately. Could thae possibly be the problem? How long should I wait this out before going to see my doctor?

Update:

Menopause can't be it, I'm 17.

You should really go see your doctor. ! If you have cramps for 2 weeks, than you should have already seen the doctor especially if you haven't had your period for 3 months.

Are you old enough for menopause to be a possibility?

I would see the Dr soon if for no other reason than to ease your mind.
