Mother's family came to the U.S.A. in the 1850 period but there were still family in Germany.
Hubby also had relatives back in Germany and we were discussing this after one of his history classes. There were no members of our family who could answer this for us.

There's no easy way. You should try to collect as much accurate information as possible before starting your research, such as properly spelled names, dates of birth, residence addresses, etc.
There are several different online sites that you can easily find by googling something like "list of inmates & concentration camp".
