What are the arkansas state law for buying a used vehicle?

What are my legal standings in having a bill of sale and no title?

    A Bill of Sale just shows you paid for the car. No title you don't own the car and can do nothing with it... you can't put plates on it and for sure legally sell it. Your only legal standings is to get the title, get your money back if they will give it to you or sue the person who sold you the car for the money or title.

    No title = NO SALE!

    If the person selling the car does NOT have a clear title in his hand at the time of the sale that he can transfer to you, then he doesn NOT have the right to sell the car, and you should not attempt to buy it.

    Without a title the sale is not valid.

    The only exception is parts cars

    You shouldn't buy a vehicle without a title. PERIOD!

    You just can't fix stupid.
