You do realize that it's carbs not sugar that is a concern and that eating sugar doesn't cause diabetes though excess weight is a contributing factor. The glycemic index of honey is 55 while that of sugar is 65 in most accounts though the link below for honey says 61. It's really not much of a difference.
A more important matter is that honey is glucose and fructose, about 30% fructose. You may have heard that high fructose corn syrup ( 55% fructose ) is bad for you. That's because fructose doesn't trigger the release of insulin and doesn't require insulin to be absorbed by the liver. That means it's preferentially absorbed by the liver and not by the other cells for energy so it's almost certain to be stored and likely to become fat. Fat contributes to insulin resistance. This isn't as big a deal for a diabetic who injects insulin in preparation for the honey but in someone not on insulin, the fructose could increase their chances of diabetes much as HFCS does.
You have to be careful of the sweeteners that people say are healthier for you, for example Agave Syrup is often touted as being healthy but it's 92% fructose.
As with all things, use in moderation.

Honey has more carbs and calories than sugar so there will be little if any difference between using that over sugar. If you are not going to use sugar substitutes then something like agave might give you a small reduction in sugar spikes as the fructose has to be broken down to glucose and will enter your blood a little slower.

I wouldnt mix the aspirin with them, cause then it would take away the benefit of the aspirin( which helps with redness) honey is good for moisturizing, sugar is an exfoliater , and egg whites help tighten skin.
