    Regular pay 40 hours @ $12.50 per hour = $500.00

    Overtime pay 8 hours @ $18.75 per hour = $150.00

Total earnings before any deduction >>> = $650.00 << Gross pay

    Less income tax withholding__ $650 @.10 = $65.00

    Less social security tax (FICA) $650 @.062 = $40.30

    Less Medicare tax >>>>>>>>> $650 @ .0145 = $9.43

    Less health insurance premiums >>>>>>>> = $25.00

    Total deductions >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $139.73 <<Total deductions

    Bonita's net pay >>>> $510.27 <<< Take home pay

    40 X 12.50 + 8 X 18.75 = 600

    600 X .8235 = 494.10

    494.10 - 25.00 = 469.10
