Why did you become a Christian?

Why? Because the Lord called me to....He softened my heart enough to hear His word....and when it was time it happened....I accepted the Lord when Evang. Billy Graham made his one and only tour to Hartford CT....when you hear the Lord's voice harden not your hearts....God's richest Blessing to you.

well, I was once a christian because my parents brainwashed me to be so because I was taught if I followed christianity without questioning it I wouldn't go to hell. As well as this, I was a christian not because of choice, but because of which country I happen to be raised in and what family I was born into. There is therefore, technically no such thing as a religious child - only an indoctrinated, threatened child (as we all know, children are hilariously gullible and don't think for themselves)

I was atheist , then I found the true Christian religion, the Jehovah's Witnesses .

It was so refreshing to learn about being a real Christian with teaching that made sense , not that trinity or burning in hell rubbish. Even worst the evil torment of thinking I could end up in heaven , now that scared me.

Most people are born into it. I was born into it

because of my parents, however, my mom indoctrinated me with false doctrines which left me scared and sick all my life, i learned real biblical truth once i joined the Adventist church last year when i was 20,

i feel free and not sick and worried anymore,

i'm still glad that my parents did their duty and raised me with God. my parents were atheists when they got married but found the Lord sometime after i was born.

I wanted to go to heaven when I die and now it is even so much more especially that peace that surpasses all understanding & knowing that I will NEVER be alone.
