If either of you have been married before, you are not able to be married in the Catholic Church without first receiving a Church annulment. If you haven't been married before, you would just have to fill out some forms and take a brief class in marriage preparation. Why not make an appointment with your local Catholic parish priest to discuss it? Good luck.

Like someone else said, it all depends on who you want to follow:

Option 1: Pope Benedict the XVI

    Option 2: Your pastor

I know that if you were to marry in the Catholic Church you'd have to convert to your fiance's religion.

It's called an eclasiastic wedding or something of the sorts and is at the discretion of the actual church you have in mind.

If your living together the Church will likely have you separate for a while.

You should be able to marry in any non Catholic church, but the catholic church would need to to undergo teachings first if they did allow it

you can be married in a catholic church, a common service with readings , hymns , but no eucharist .
