What is the cheapest way to get to Staines from Hook/Basingstoke by train?

Okay, so I'm going to thorpe park on Thursday 12th April and I'm trying to find the cheapest route. Please don't give me links to websites unless vital! I would like it for a child and an adult but the prices to be kept separate... Were leaving roughly between 7:30-8:15 and coming back roughly about 6:45! Please help, many thanks!

I'll be kind and give you the information you want. The route is Basingstoke - Reading by Cross Country Trains, change there for South West train to Staines. Off Peak Day Return Adult is £22 (but not before the 8.07 from Basingstoke, otherwise you will have to pay £30.10 for an Anytime Day Return. Child fare is half, or £11. On top of this you have to pay for the bus from Staines Station to Thorpe Park

From Basingstoke you need to change trains at Reading A return to Staines from the 08-07

departure onwards from Basinstoke is £22 for an adult. Half fare for those aged 5 to 16. Free for under 5s. Before the 08-07 it is £30

So you don't want links to the National Rail website or any other website.

Instead you're expecting us - total strangers - to visit the website for you, search the website for the appropriate fares, and then come back here to give you the fares.

    Hmmm.
