Grammar question :'I am craving pizza' or 'I am craving for pizza'?

Hey I need help from an English speaker, which one of the 2 sentences is correct? I believe the first one is correct and the word 'for' is used after the word 'craving' as a noun, but my friends often say the latter. Someone please tell meee

I would say, I have a craving for pizza.

Use it as a noun rather than a adjective.
