I'm doing an investigation in plant's growth. I compare two plants of the same type and in both samples I used the same type of ruler to measure the plant's length. Can I put 'same type of ruler' as my controlled variable?

I've unchecked the R1C1 reference style and it doesn't work. HELP!

Saya pelajar muslim di sebuah sekolah international. Dalam kurikulum di sini, ada yg namanya CAS (creativity, action, and service), sebuah program yg mengharuskan siswa2 untuk mengikuti kegiatan2 yang berhubungan dgn kreativititas (tampil dalam sebuah pertunjukan misalnya), olahraga, dan menjadi relawan sebuah kegiatan amal. Untuk olahraga dan menjadi relawan, pihak sekolah sudah memogramkan kegiatan khusus. Nah, untuk yg kreativitas, sekolah tidak mengadakan kegiatan khusus. Salah satu cara untuk mendapatkan nilai di kreativitas adl dgn ikut ekskur paduan suara, dance, atau drama. Saya tak bs mengikuti dance krn pakaiannya sering mengumbar aurat, sedangkan jadwal ekskur drama bertabrakan dgn jadwal pelajaran yg di-'extend' oleh sekolah. Pilihan trkhr hanya paduan suara, jd saya memutuskan untuk ikut padus. Padus sekolah saya sering ikut kompetisiinternasional, dan salah satu kriteria dlm kompetisi tsb adl kategori sacred music (musik gereja). Mau tak mau, ketika latihan pada jam ekskur, saya ikut menyanyikan lagu2 jenis itu (ini utk kompetisi, supaya menanh ya hrs latihan lagu gereja macam ini). Nah, bagi yg ahli agama, apakah hal ini diperbolehkan dalam Islam? Saya memilih padus krn memang itu ekskur seni yg terbuka buat saya. Padus sering tampil jd saya bisa dpt nilai bagus dalam kolom creativity saya. Apakah saya berdosa?
