What is 't' test for? What is the function ( not maths function) of it?

    one of statistical tests(to prove whether hypothesis is true or not) for use in INTERVAL data(e.g. volume of O2 released).in this test if the 'calculated' value is greater than 'critical' value -- experimental hypothesis is accepted or null hypothesis is rejected.

    The t-test assesses whether the means of two groups are statistically different from each other. This analysis is appropriate whenever you want to compare the means of two groups.
