What is a reason that someone would lose both their license to drive and their license to practice medicine?

The state gives you a license to do either one of these activities, If you abuse the priveledge either one could be taken from you.

Can you think of 1 thing you could do that would cause you to lose both at the same time?

In my state, if a parent is ordered to pay child support and doesn't do it, and gets seriously behind in the payments, the state will suspend ALL licenses. This means driver's, hunting/fishing, and professional licenses. So that's one thing.

It depends on the state, but usually if you get too many DUI's or drug-related convictions that will do it.

Driving while intoxicated and being late to work for it.

In many states, a driver's license suspension is a routine part of any conviction for a drug crime. While this mostly commonly affects teenagers with a joint, it applies equally to doctors, who are convicted of various medical license suspension violations.
