affordable benefit gala outfit?
the theme is wonderland and it is in aid of muscular dystrophy. i know how most people dress at these events in thousand+ dollar dresses, but I don't want to spend that much!! any suggestions on appropriate outfits that are still affordable?

I would go to a mid level clothing store, like a Dillards. They are like Macy's but they are very nice and price comparible. I would not spend that type of cash unless you can absolutely afford to. I would not spend major bucks on one of these galas if you pointed a gun at my head unless I had mucho dinero. I am not that type to spend that type of cash unless it is absolutely necessary esp in these hard economic times. YOu can dress very nice for a fraction of that cost. Be wise and save and people will realize how intelligent you are.
