Fans of Days from the '80. Does anyone else miss the original Roman Brady, Wayne Northrop?
Wayne's birthday is tomorrow. To me he's the only Roman Brady. Josh Taylor played Chris Kositchek back then. I got to meet Wayne and Deidre Hall at her fan event in 2006. What a salt-of-the-earth good guy, with a killer sense of humor! Does anyone else remember Wayne as Roman? What do you remember most about his portrayal of Roman? Thanks!
I also agree that Wayne's return as Alex North was a bust. It wasn't his fault, though. It was so much fun to see him and Dee share scenes again, and you could tell they loved working together, but they had the most ridiculous story line and dialogue to play. They never did explain why Alex hated Marlena so much and wanted revenge. And that whole thing about Lois & Alex conspiring to kill Marlena to get her out of the way so they could be together?? It made no sense. (They made Wayne dye his hair the weirdest shade of reddish brown, too. Poor guy!)

wow how sad, I totally forgot about him, I youtubed an episode from Dec 20 1993, it was really good back then. Its sad today that the writers don't love the show and the history of Days. They don't give us any back ground and building characters like they did back then. I also forgot that Sam from Another World played Beau as well. Him and Lisa rinna in the one I watched were really good together as well!
Wayne was a real man and his voice and character makes you feel more connected to him.

Yes he and Dock or Marlena made a good couple. Really i liked him better than the Roman we have now. K2
