The answer is yes. Now these days it has become very easy for thirtha yatra, Yamunotri and Kedarnath is hard to reach, but you can hire Palki to go up, transportation reaches very close to rest of the places. I took my mom when she was 65 back in 2003. Do this, it is worth it and good luck.

Please note that these are high altitude areas, and thus it is advised that people who have any respiratory problems or cardio-vascular problems to seek doctor's advice before venturing to these areas. For those who are fit enough despite of their age, these destinations are worth a visit, particularly due to their beautiful scenic views apart from pilgrimage value.Yamunotri and Kedarnath yatra involves higher level of fitness due to treking involved, but Badrinath and Gangotri are much easier. You can get in touch with waytoindia for further details and best prices for packages to chardham yatra and hotel bookings.
