Can a Rockford fosgate p3 15 handle 900 RMS?

I know it says the max is 500 rms, but I think it could handle more. I just don't know how much more. I could always turn the gain down so it doesn't blow the sub but I was wondering if, even with the gain down, a 900 rms amp would blow the sub? Its a D4 sub and it will ne wored to a kenwood amp at 2 ohm. Thanks!

If it's the 9104 it only produces around 650 anyway, so that should work fine.

If it's the 9105 I wouldn't hesitate to use it, but would make sure to keep the bass boost at zero and use a conservative gain setting.

giving it more will cause iot to blow but you do have a point they are under rated but not by 300 WATTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UR GONNA BLOW THEM!!!!!!!!! probably handle 580 watts RMS more or less
