Skyrim Armor and Weapon Advice?

Hello guys...

I'm starting to play Skyrim for about 2-3 days. As u know, there are Heavy Weapon, one hand weapon, light armor, heavy armor. I want some good pair for armor and weapos.

My problem is I like every armor and weapons cus one hand weapon is fast, heavy weapon is not fast but deal greate damage. I know I can change from light weapon to heavy weapon without problem in battle. But I want to upgrade preks for only one, not both heavy weapon and light weapon. Advice me which pair is good.

1. Light Armor + Heavy Weapon

2. Light Armor + One hand sword + shield

3. Light Armor + One hand sword + magic

4. Heavy Armor + Heavy Weapon

5. Heavy Armor + One hand sword + shield

6. Heavy Armor + One hand sword + magic

~Thanks for your advice =]

It depends on what you want to do with the character.

Do you plan to run/power attack/sneak a lot? In that case light armor is probably the best choice as heavy armor increases stamina costs and is nosier than light armor.

Do you plan on standing there and taking blows while delivering your own, or are you going to block, or do you plan on not being hit at all? The first should be in heavy armor, the second should probably use a shield, and the third would probably want light armor.

Do you want to whittle down your opponents health with a rain of blows? Then you want a one-handed weapon. Plan on killing them while they sleep or are unaware of you? Again, you want a one-handed. Or do you want to walk up to someone, swing your weapon once, and start looting the freshly made corpse? In that case two-handed all the way.

Don't underestimate archery. Much improved on Oblivion, and when you get sneak attacks it's usually one shot kills on smaller enemies. Personally I have light armor as it is lighter and you can sneak better. With a sword I would have either a 1 handed sword with magic or a 2 handed sword on its own.

Try dual wield combo, 2 axes haha, it's a bit mental and you have no defence at all, but still fun.

Again not forget sneak archery, very powerful, and when you've attacked while sneaking, as you are far away the enemy still has to locate you so you usually get time to finish them with another arrow before you get found.

Not 1. Light armour and heavy weapons dont work very well. 2 can be done, but again i wouldn't recommend it. 6 also seems odd but it can be done. a small note with the heavy weapons, most stat upgrades should be going health with a few to stamina

when i played through skyrim i started out using heavy armor, one handed weapon and magic and it worked out quite well.after they were maxed out then i started using all the other type of weapons and armor just so i could max out every thing.you may want to check out this site and look at the skill trees to see if you really want to take all of the perks in any of.you may change your mind and only want a few of the perks in a skill tree for one handed weapons and then take a few for two handed weapons.it all comes down to how you want to play through the game.hope this helps.http://www.uesp.net/wiki/skyrim:skyrim
