Can you help me with my axel?
Ok so I really need help on my axel, I want it soooo badly! Please don't say ask your coach because I have, and she gave great advice, but I'd like a second opinion! I have a little over 1 rotation of it, but I only know this from watching in slow motion on video, it is sooo uglyy! Any tips to get more height and rotation? Thanks

I'm working on my axel too. But I have the somewhat opposite problem- I either over rotate it or just can't land it.
Your coach knows better than we do because she can watch what you're doing and all. It would be advantageous to listen to her advice over ours.
But make sure you kick through it. I always have a problem with keeping my body up straight, so my coach always tells me to keep my head up, my back straight, and don't hunch. Also, my coach likes my moves to flow. So she tells me my hands should help too, not just my legs. I really don't remember anything else she said, but I hope that much helped.
Oh, and work on axel walkthroughs, backspins, and waltz-loop-loop comboes. My coach made me learn ALL my jumps in a jump-loop combo, and I guess that prepared me well. So work on those too, if you can! :)
