Christians: did all the other people the Romans crucified deserve it?

Is that what made Jesus' death special? He was without sin and didn't deserve all that suffering, so it paid for our sins instead. And the other victims of Roman institutionalized violence DID deserve their gory and painful deaths, because they weren't without sin?

Do you think I deserve to get nailed to a T and left to hang until I die like that, since I'm a sinner too?

I'm just trying to understand this.

I don't believe anyone "deserves" a tormenting death for their evil ways in this world and I certainly don't know anything about those others who suffered as such. It is true though that Jesus was without sin, and was the only one to ever walk this earth to be without sin. It's also true that death didn't keep him in the ground, something no one else has ever accomplished.

We're all sinners, but no one needs to be "nailed to a T and left to hand until dead" since Jesus already did that for us so that we didn't have to. That's not too difficult to understand......he's the only perfect sacrifice since that's what was required, and no further blood sacrifice is necessary because He did it already. Now the "sacrifice" we owe is one of our own fleshly desires to follow Him, as one who is both worthy in person and a debt of gratitude and repayment.

People who were crucified were usually criminals of some sort, rebels against Rome, or runaway slaves. Jesus most likely never existed, crucified savior gods have been around from time immemorial, long before Rome existed. If Jesus was real, he was likely just a minor zealot leader who was was executed for leading a rebellion. There are hints of this in the Gospels, if you know where to look.

The concept works like this. You need to familiarize yourself with the terms heretic and heathen. The Visigoths, goths etc were considered to be heathens, meaning they were void of Christianity nor were they interested in accepting Christ into their lives. Jesus died for all of mankind but those who do not accept Christianity/GOD etc, will not be allowed into the Kingdom of heaven.

As for do you deserve to be crucified or not... that is going to be decided by man. If you accept Christ into your life it is written that men who share similar beliefs as you currently accept, atheism or similar, will persecute you.

It was only a story it never happened! No gods or devils exist anywhere outside of any ones properly inculcated mind! The truth, not some pretend fake belief of faith like any god is!

no, nobody deserves to die at the hand of another human, and no human has the right to kill another.

its wasnt the actual cruification of christ that makes his "death" a "special" one. Its that instead of asking God to save him, Jesus chose to die and in return give everyone a clean slate ie. he did for our sins. The Son of God should have had eternal life but man kind killed him.
