Net books are usually smaller and have no optical drives, slower processors, less ram and less hard drive space and are used mainly for just surfing the web, Notebooks on the other hand have optical drives, faster processors, more ram and can be used for gaming, watching DVD or Blue Ray movies, editing, among other things.

Notebook and Laptop are one and the same thing, just called by two different names..

A Netbook is a very basic type of portable computer, having a low end, low specs processor and graphics. You can think of it as like a half processor, the most common is the Intel Atom, some of the best ones are even dual core. Also there is no optical drive in a Netbook (DVD/CD/BluRay) and they are usually of smaller size, just a 10 inch diagonal is typical, some are 12 or even 14 inch.

Basically a Netbook is mainly used for light tasks, such as web browsing (thus the Netbook name), word processing and some light to medium video playback and video streaming (like youtube and such).

a protracted time in the past notebooks have been laptops with wrting abilitys, yet now the call is out of date, as all laptops now have writing means. As for netbooks they are smaller then a pc and makes use of extra low priced power efficient, yet sluggish processor. those are made manly for information superhighway and place of work classes. additionally netbooks are smaller then laptops, yet commonly have extra suitable battery life. besides the undeniable fact that some netbooks makes use of Linux OS quite of domicile windows XP (even though linux runs extra suitable on netbooks) and a few use a great state stress quite of a complicated stress, which helps extra suitable battery life and makes the pc extra good, yet as much less area as offered state drives have not have been given to 3 ability as complicated drives for an analogous cost. And netbooks have not got an optical stress equipped in. in my opinion in case you purely % place of work classes and information superhighway use, you will get a netbook. you % to apply it as entertainment and different issues then get a pc.
