Dress code for Saturday Night Live audience?

my family and i are going to the taping of SNL tomorrow night and are wondering what the dress code is? are dark jeans and a button up shirt okay? or would formal wear be better like kacies and a button up shirt tucked in? thanks!

we are from downeast maine so we dont go to any kinda fancy things very often haha!

    there are no dress code. Just not shirt with provocative message on it

    I've been to a lot of live taping TV show like Oprah, Ellen, Daily show with Jon Steward. They don't really care how you look because they sorts audience seating by how they look. They always put some good looking guy/gal at front and people that doesn't look good at the back

    Semi-formal is the norm for most tapings I've been to. Something decent that you would wear at a club or at a party. Wearing a coat with your dark jeans and shirt would be a nice touch. No torn jeans or hoochie mama type outfits. Common sense prevails.
