In Maine switch blade type knives have become legal to own and carry so in my group of friends the topic of how strong is the spring really has come up. We don't have any experience and only know what we have seen in movies and recently in quick google searches. If the spring is not strong enough to do any damage why would they have been illegal in the first place? why are only a weaker design in my mind.

In Maine you can have a Concealed Handgun Permit if you are over 18 but you can not buy a handgun until you are 21 so how is someone 18-21 supposed to be able to legally own a handgun with out participating in a 'straw perches' or with out someone truly just giving them a handgun with out any payment in return?

Also if private individual wishes to purchase a firearm from another private individual is there any paper work that has to be done at a licenses gun shop? or is it legal to just exchange money for a firearm? is this situation just for simplicity both individuals are over 21 and of course legal to own firearms, not convicted felons etc.

I have tried searching for this type of info but can not fund anything satisfactory so any knowledge on this topic would be greatly appreciated as well as links to websites with this info etc.

Springfield Armory 40S&W Sub Compact XD with 3" Barrel, or the DX-S Compact 45ACP.

I don't mind the extra kick from the .45 and the XDS45 is actually smaller/more thin than the XD40. Bigger round in a smaller gun, I really like that. But the XD40 has 12 round double stack mag where as the XD45 has a 6 round single stack.

I just don't know.

Opinions, preferences, comments, ideas?

so I was oiling my bike chain on my Cannondale F4 bicycle and I thought I was being good and not getting any over spray on the discs but apparently I did because my brakes suck now like so bad they pretty much don't work. So mad with myself. so i took the pads out and cleaned them and the disc with break cleaner, that didn't help at all, so i took them off again and cleaned everything with rubbing alcohol 70% and still didnt help much. what should i do? thanksss =\

I just broke this part on the Cannondale F4 I think its like 2 years old. The part that broke is this little pice that connects the rear derailleur gear shifter thing to the hub...? I think its meant to be the weak part, so its nothing else broke. so where do i get another one? how expensive? thanks a ton guys!

it is a 07 kawi ninja 500r with 65XX miles it has a 3'' long crack in the side fairing and a few other little scratches. It also seeds a rear tire and a battery. when i bought it, it had been sitting for a while so the carbs were messed up but i got it running ok but it still has a rough idle.

so anyway i have tried entering info on KBB or NADA for a price but they only let me enter year, make and model. is there any other sites that let me enter more info?

i need to know for assets for me health insurance or something
