Can I give this to my dog? ?
My dog just got cough after I left him in a kennel. I heard you can give human medicine to dogs. I have this cough syrup and these are the ingredients :
ipecacuanha liquid extract, liquorice liquid extract, pumilo pine oil, squill oxymel, ethanol, sucrose and 2.9% alcohol.
Can i give this to him?

NO!!! NEVER give your dog any kind of medication until you speak to a vet first. You can give the wrong medication or the wrong dosage and end up killing your dog. If your dog is sick, then your one and only option is to take him to an Emergency Vet and the vet will give you the most effective medication that he needs to treat the problem.

Probably not but maybe you should go see a vet before giving it to him and maybe the vet can subscribe you a prescription so you should not give to him unless you have asked a vet but you can try but if something happen send him to a vet and give medical attention just in case but my answer is no you should not you can either hurt the dog badly but when my sister did that to her dog it died the next day so no human medicine so no never give your dog any kind of medication until you speak to a vet first

Your dog has kennel cough. Human medicine will not fix this. Also that medicine wont be good for dogs jsyk.
My dog had kennel cough before and it wasnt pretty. You should take him to a vet soon and get him proper medication to get rid of this soon.
Hope this helped!

No you can hurt the dog try taking him/her to the Vet and i wouldn't listen to anyone on Y! Answers because you dogs life matters more so try taking him to the vet and like i said dont listen to others if they say "Yes" because they're probably UN-Expirienced, and try going to the vet to heay answers from Professionals

I would NOT do that. I would Google "Kennel Cough" and/or take it to the Vet.

I would double check with the vet about that

I would suggest you do not give that to your dog.
